Mission To Mars: Mankind's Journey to the Red Planet

March 2, 2017
7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Join us as we tell the story of the greatest adventure on which mankind has ever embarked. This journey is not something we are planning to do; it's something we are doing, right now, in numerous ways, combining the best of our talents, experiences, and abilities in a variety of fields. We're going to Mars!

This fascinating evening of space exploration will feature music, videos, and a trip across the surface of Mars in 3D with glasses provided by the Link Observatory Space Science Institute. Also, after the library program, attendees will have the opportunity to visit the Carmel High School Planetarium for more space viewing.

This program is suitable for families with children ages 10 and up. Brought to you by the Link Observatory Space Science Institute.

Tickets are required and will be available at the Reference Desk beginning Thursday, February 2. For more information, call the Reference Desk at (317) 844-3362.

This program will be held in the Program Room.
